On Saturday 12 August 2023, residents of Chorley East enjoyed a community event at the new Tatton Community Centre and Tatton Recreation Ground
It was a great opportunity for the community to check out the services that could run at the new community centre in the future as well as day of fun for all the family.
Organised by UDevelop, supported by Chorley Council and Rise Construction Framework, the event showcased the services and activities of community groups and support organisations, such as providers of exercise opportunities, gardening support services, line dancing and more, plus fun activities such as face painting, football coaching sessions and more!
The new Tatton Community Centre was created as part of the new Tatton Gardens development and revamp to Tatton Recreation Ground, bringing value to the local community. As well as a fun afternoon, the event will give local residents the opportunity to shape the activities that should be available in their local community centre
